The orbit of your repetition is so gentle! Consider me content to gaze upon it. What a treat to be comforted in my own office. As I have told you before, you are naturally articulate when you are not self-conscious. And here you have articulated an oft overlooked truth regarding the simplicity of our fundamental needs.
I’m reminded of some recent reading where I learned of a renowned professor of psychiatry who cited feeling his wife’s bottom against him while falling asleep each night as central to his general well-being. Vulnerability is endearing—but more importantly it enables that sublime interpersonal connectivity in which the desire of one and the potentialities of another make manifest a new singular whole. Could this be a small step for man closer to some spiritual age?
